Meet The One Connection Team

Dr Tonya McKoy

FOUNDER & CEO

Dr. Tonya McKoy is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Transitions and Connections Strategist, and Leadership Coach based in Tennessee. She provides confidential, career-safe care for adults through individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as intensive outpatient recovery services for substance use. Drawing on nearly two decades in engineering as a project manager, process engineer, and operations leader, she also designs leadership and team development programs that tackle today’s most pressing workplace challenges — from burnout, grief, and addiction recovery to courageous conversations, psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and leading through change. Her distinctive approach blends clinical expertise with systems thinking — equipping leaders and professionals to heal, grow, and lead with clarity.

Inspired by her own mentors and years of guiding others through complex life and career transitions, Dr. McKoy believes ONE CONNECTION CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING. That belief drives her mission: to build integrated counseling, recovery, and leadership development programs that help people and organizations turn life’s hardest transitions into their greatest breakthroughs. Dr. McKoy is also a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider (MHSP) designation and an Approved Supervisor with experience mentoring license-eligible clinicians and practicum students — investing with purpose in the next generation of mental health professionals.

Dr Whitney Wyatt

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Whitney N. Wyatt is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping individuals and organizations navigate some of life’s most complex mental health challenges.

With a clinical background spanning crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, substance use recovery, and psychological assessment, Dr. Wyatt brings both the depth and the range that today’s workplace demands. She understands that the professionals sitting in your conference room are carrying things that never show up on a performance review — and she is equipped to help them work through it.

Dr. Wyatt has extensive experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and substance use challenges — the same challenges that quietly erode team performance, increase absenteeism, and drive talented people out of organizations that never saw it coming.

A certified QPR suicide prevention gatekeeper trainer, she has trained individuals and teams to recognize and respond to mental health crises — equipping workplaces with the knowledge and confidence to act when it matters most.

Her expertise in psychological assessment — including evaluations for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other diagnoses — also makes her a valuable resource for organizations navigating neurodiversity in the workplace and seeking to build truly inclusive cultures.

At the core of Dr. Wyatt’s work is a belief that mental health care should meet people where they are — in their careers, their teams, and their lives. She brings that belief to every client and every organization she serves at One Connection Counseling Center.
